Mardi Gras Feb. 21, 2023, Moreton Island and sea days
Today is February 21, 2023 we are celebrating Mardi Gras, as if we need a reason to party! On a cruise ship! Small island yesterday which was a “stop” and not a port! It had a resort and that’s it. I’m looking forward to upcoming ports: Airlie Beach, and Cairns – the Great Barrier Reef.

Sydney! Day 30 Saturday February 18, 2023
This is officially my longest cruise! My 2018 Asia cruise was 29 days. Beautiful day! It was supposed to rain! It was sunny & hot until later when it did rain. Thunder & lightning put on a show. Not to mention two fireworks displays. We watched it from our balcony.

Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle as of 11th February 2023
Our itinerary was changed to avoid the southern island of New Zealand as the cyclone was headed right for us! Therefore, we won’t be visiting Picton, Wellington, & New Plymouth.
