My cough was getting worse and ears were starting to bother me. Decided to see a doctor. Tested positive for COVID. Drat! The protocol is 6 days isolation, however, since my symptoms started last Thursday, I only had to be quarantined for 3 days onboard. Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. The worst thing is Barry had to be quarantined too!
On the upside, Sunday 27th was a sea day, we cruised through Yakutat Bay.

Monday was also a sea day cruising through Glacier Bay National Park. I was able to enjoy the lovely scenery by going out on our wrap around balcony. A much clearer day, it even got warm in the sun the further into the bay we went.

The only port we are missing is Icy Strait Point. I have been here before. We can see gondolas and the world’s largest zip line. Which is really a mechanical “zip line” where guests are strapped in to seats.

The other silver lining is our stateroom being a suite! The living room area is separate from the bedroom, plus each has its own tv!
I have kept busy, when not sleeping, by watching movies & tv, playing Mahjongg online, “reading” books on Audible, doing watercolor painting on my iPad, taking photos, birding, going out on the balcony (temperature permitting!), and doing my Duolingo everyday. I’m up to 339 days! Woo-who!
