Robbin’s Journey

Byers Lake nature walk this morning. Our guide, Kadia, was great. Pointing out poisonous plants, and interesting facts about the area. We were in Denali State Park. On the ride over, Kadia spotted a moose, which I saw for a second and then a black bear which I didn’t see!

Dave Johnson, a legendary climber, has climbed Denali multiple times and lives in Talkeetna. He built this little cabin.

This other “house” was built by Red. Red and Bunny lived in it. Known as a more-on house. Then added more on for their 2 kids.

We walk continues….

Now on to our treehouse walk. This is here at Mt. McKinley Wilderness Princess Lodge. It was built by the “treehouse guy” from tv.

Hurricane Hilary may be causing havoc on our neighborhood but so far we have lucked out by missing the rain in Alaska! Stay safe out there.
