Kotor by Tuk Tuk! We rode all around the Bay of Kotor riding in a 6 guest Tuk Tuk vehicle. Just imagine a 6 passenger, street legal golf cart with plastic zipper windows and walls. It would have been wonderful if the weather was more pleasant. It was 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Quite chilly. 🥶 But not windy! 😌 But best of all we didn’t get any rain! 😇 Last night there was a 60% chance predicted for today! 😉😁😎

Since I have acclimated to desert weather, I find anything below 70 degrees cold. But never fear, I just piled on the layers (shell blouse, long sleeve top, vest, & jacket) and it was …well, I survived! Note to self: pack hat, gloves, & boots next time! 🙄😅😜 Oh yes, I did take along a raincoat just in case.

As one can see, we are in the back row with another guest in the righthand seat. The best thing was the blanket each guest got!

We stopped at a lookout point. We could see Our Lady of the Rocks, church on an island in the bay. I have been inside the church once before during sailboat excursion while on a Mediterranean cruise. I remembered that there was a church in the bay. What I didn’t remember was the story about the healing powers of the painting/picture on a rock. The Tuk Tuk tour guide told us the story of the Madonna’s face on a rock. Yet, the tv promo told told of the Madonna & child painting. Both versions had special healing powers. 😬😙😉

Just looking at the delicious homemade looking cakes, I knew I had to order something with my cappuccino. Who would have thought…world’s largest croissants! Bazingga! The high point of the tour (plus, it was warm in the cafe!). The croissants were fantastic. … It just got a whole lot easier to say “no thanks” to the pastries onboard. 😜😜😜

More random shots out the “window”

Happy for the opportunity to warm up back onboard. Ciao!
