Dubai definitely likes to show off its lavish side, with displays of grander, beauty, and opulence. It has earned the nickname “City of Gold.” Today we went to the Burj Al Arab Hotel, the world’s only 7 star hotel. Its 1,053-foot sail-shaped design gives it the illusion of a giant ship. Alas, our tour didn’t include the interior! …there’s still tonight and tomorrow!

Such wonderful pictures. I noticed the woman wearing the traditional outfit looked like it was purchased at the clothing store you took a pic of. It was in the window. LOL. She did have on nice comfortable looking shoes and carried a nice looking stylish purse too. A lot of the pics looked like something out of a sci fi show.
I took lots of pictures of people in traditional clothing and some more modern traditional clothing in the Dubai Mall. I am planning to post part 3 Dubai. All clothes and foodie pictures. 😳🙄😅 coming soon. …Alas I need to post Muscat Oman from yesterday too. I usually get it out that same day of the next day. So I still have 8 hours to get to it. So happy I’m able to publish these memories as I go! Thanks for your thoughtful responses. 😘😘😘
