Our itinerary was changed to avoid the southern island of New Zealand as the cyclone was headed right for us! Therefore, we won’t be visiting Picton, Wellington, & New Plymouth. Instead sailed through the Cook Strait and are underway to Australia! We have an additional port, Melbourne on 16 February. And then back on schedule for Sydney on 18 February.
There goes my LOTR film set/location visit. Shoot! I guess it’s more important to avoid life & death peril. The good news is neither of us have been to Melbourne before! In the meantime, we are keeping busy and enjoying the activities and events onboard. Not pictured are Zumba and Mahjongg.
The Tasmanian Sea has been fairly calm…so far! It is known for being unpredictable and prone to storms. Please keep us in your prayers!
