Robbin’s Journey

Getting ready for my next adventure. …Yes, it’s the trip of a lifetime! Circumnavigating the earth! I’m so nervous excited! Barry & I embark on the Island Princess on Jan. 19, 2023 for our adventure. We will be joined by our friends, Danny & Pat. Yeah! It’s always so much better to share the travel experience with friends.

111 Days

We won’t be disembarking until May 11, 2023. It is unfathomable for me In my mind’s eye, it is hard to envision that length of time. It is far easier to imagine myself going to all the ports and meeting the locals. Well, there’s always the Scarlett O’Hara method, “I won’t think about that now. I’ll go crazy if I do. I’ll think about it later.”

Packing

Working on packing light! Light for 111 days, …well, we do have free laundry. So we got that going for us. I am planning hoping to take one carry on bag and one checked bag. Of clothing that is. I’m also planning to take one checked bag of things I’ll need due to the duration of the journey, such as my favorite hair conditioner, and other toiletres I can’t live without. As I use up these necessities, I will have an empty suitcase which I can use to bring home souvenirs. …that’s my plan, and I’m sticking to it. …
