Lake of the Ozarks

After a very long Thursday (2AM – 9:45PM) of travel, we arrived at our hotel. Barry & I are traveling with Barry’s brother & sister-in-law, Larry & Patricia, to attend Larry’s stepson, Stas’ wedding. Photos are from their wedding website.

On Friday, we got our first look at our resort. It’s beautiful! Not to mention all the different birds in Missouri. There were water skiers in the early morning. The water was as smooth as glass. Sweet!

Next we drove around checking out the area. We found a little shopping/tourist stretch of Hwy 54. Souvenir shops, a Trump store, ice cream parlor, Harley Davison shop, yes they have everything!

We enjoyed a light dinner (Taco Bell) on the patio. Gorgeous sunset. Beautiful in the extreme!

      Not really! We did have ribs at a local restaurant. Plus pulled pork sliders on the cruise. 😉😉😉 The tourist season is mostly over, so lots of restaurants are already closed. The upside is the resort is not crowded. And weather was very mild. Sweet! 😎
