Rome, The Eternal City! Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the Forum, and the awes-inspiring art including the Pieta, and the Sistine Chapel. Viva Roma!🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
This was my 4th or 5th time in Rome. Barry has also been here multiple times. Still a world cruise wouldn’t be complete without a stop in Rome. So we took one of the shorter tours into Rome. It’s a 1 hour & 40 minute bus ride from the port into Rome, so “short” is a relative term. 🙄😳😬😉😉😉
Wowie-ka-zowie, Batman! Robbin saw the pope! Yes, really!!! Barry & I had free time at the Vatican. We heard everyone cheering when Pope Francis started speaking. He spoke from a window on the building on the right. Top row, second window from the right. He gave a blessing! Pope Francis spoke for about 15 minutes. I got a tear in my eye while videoing him. Incredible! This really is a Buona Pasqua Happy Easter …Holy Monday! perhaps
