Robbin’s Journey

Thailand formerly known as Siam. The setting of The King & I. Phuket city is simply beautiful, an exotic and unique sanctuary of museums, temples, shops!, iconic marketplaces, cafes, and Sino mansions from the powerful barons of the past. One can witness where Scaramanga tried to kill James Bond in Man with the Golden Gun. (Why yes, I am paraphrasing the port guide.) 🙄😳😬😉😜😅

The King and I is one of my favorite musicals. 🎼 🎵 🎶 I always loved the film, all the songs, and the costumes. I’m very fortunate to have seen The King and I, starring Yul Brynner live on stage at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood, California in the early 1980’s. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever travel to Thailand! 🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭

We had an amazing experience on our excursion to the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary! We got to feed the elephants, and observe them from above, standing on high walkways. The sanctuary offers a new and final home for retired and injured elephants, who have suffered from long working hours in the logging and tourism industries. We got up close and personal with several elephants. It was really cool. Et cetera, et cetera, et cetera!!! 😎😎😎🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭

Unfortunately, none of my videos would load. Even after I edited them down to less than 10 seconds!!! I will try to add them later, but don’t hold your breath. The ship’s wifi is fabulous compared to the past so I really can’t complain! You get what you get and you don’t get upset!!! 😉😜😅

“Pastor Zeny” performed a wedding ceremony earlier at the Wheelhouse Bar! Unfortunately, Robbin and Barry missed it due to delayed excursion returning to ship! We did view the video! Lovely ceremony. Congrats Sir Danny & Miss Pat❤️
